Before each tour we check weather forecast models to understand what regions have the best chances of clear skies. So we often travel anywhere between 100–500 km away from Kittila and it can take us even to Sweden or Norway to succeed seeing the northern lights and you can be sure we do our best. Each tour is limited to max 8 guests, We travel together in a single van — no other tourists or buses following us, like on other tours. We avoid busy areas that most tours visit. Instead, we drive towards the places without light pollution, and always trying to use different places so even if you go again with us it will be different thematic background where auroras can show their real magic. “Aurora guarantee” is a fake advertise no one can predict if the aurora will appear - this is nature. That's why sometimes we need to drive couple hours to see the clear sky and still wait for the aurora to appear and still if you don't see the aurora we charge only for the fuel deposit and the rest you only pay if you see the lights and we can capture this with a professional camera for your memories. If we do not see auroras on the tour, or the tour is cancelled — we try to reschedule the tour for the next nights — if you are still here and we have availability. If rescheduling is not possible, your booking fee is returned in full as per our terms and conditions.
